FY 2010 Title II Juvenile Justice Formula Funding: Evidence Based Services for Juvenile Offenders Program

The District of Columbia Justice Grants Administration announces funds to support a capacity building and implementation initiative to provide Functional Family Therapy services to youth in the juvenile justice system. Funds must be used to support the development of Functional Family Therapy teams that work in partnership with juvenile justice system agencies, stakeholders, and an intermediary—Evidence Based Associates—to build organizational capacity to provide these evidence-based services, and subsequently, to implement these services for approximately 100 youth and families per year per program. Grantees will be required to participate in and abide by all initiative organizational readiness activities, training, protocol development, clinical model adherence protocols, and funding sustainability planning as outlined in the RFA.

Eligibility: Community-based organizations that have the demonstrated abilities to meet the funding priorities, outputs, outcomes, and required activities identified in the Request for Applications (RFA), and who are able to commit to complying with all JGA financial, administrative, and programmatic regulations and expectations.

Deadline: 5 pm on Friday, May 15, 2009.

Funds: $800,000 is available to fund two (2) awards.
